The initiator of the exhibition and the honourable guest of the event was the Deputy Director, Honoured Worker of Culture of Bashkortostan – Ranis Altynbayev.
This exhibition of a landmark event for Baymak, as many may not even have been familiar with this unique personality, the world-famous architect, and the author of interesting projects. He dreamed of glorifying Ufa to the whole world and did monumental things for this. Although he lived and worked in Japan for many years, his contribution to his native republic is immense. It was our compatriot who designed the office we often see on TV news – the current President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is currently working in it. From 1997 to 2005, Rishat Usmanovich spent time in Japan. During this time, the country became very close to him – he finally mastered the Japanese language and local customs, married a Japanese woman. But he never forgot about Russia: he was active in the popularizing of Russian architecture in Japan and Japanese architecture in Russia, organized visits with lectures and exhibitions by famous Japanese architects. He worked for 5 years as an exchange instructor between the Moscow Architectural Institute and the Shibaura Technological University, lectured himself.
According to the projects from Rishat Mullagildin, a multifunctional complex “Congress Hall” and “House of Friendship of Peoples of Bashkortostan” was built, the complex of Akbuzat racetrack was reconstructed, and much more.
We invite pupils, students and citizens to visit the exhibition to learn a lot interesting about our compatriot.
The exhibition will be open at the Baymak Folk Art Center until October 15, 2024. Then it will be sent to the municipal district of the Zilairsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
