On August 25, at Congress Hall Toratau, the head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, held the first meeting of the Council under the Head of Bashkortostan on digital development and implementation of AI technologies.
The Council, which was established in May in accordance with the instructions of President Vladimir Putin, includes representatives of state and municipal authorities, development institutions, the scientific community, banking organizations and IT companies.
“I will report to the head of state on the work of our Council on a quarterly basis”, Radiy Khabirov said. “This time, his agenda is devoted to the implementation of AI in public administration. Taking into account the new challenges, we have begun to build a unified structure. The Government of the Republic has created an AI Development Department, and all ministries and departments have identified those responsible at the deputy head level. We are conducting this work together with federal experts and partners. I would also like to hear suggestions on how to bring the developments of our university laboratories into the real sector of the economy, and what support local IT companies need”, said the Head of Bashkortostan.
