The VIII Civic Forum of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held in Ufa. More than 1,000 people from different cities and municipalities of the republic became participants of this forum.
160 speakers from 19 regions of the country worked on the 25th section, including representatives of the Republic of Dagestan, Rostov, Samara, and Chelyabinsk regions.
The sections included round tables, trainings, workshops, conferences, and seminars with the participation of federal speakers. They discussed topics of patriotism and demography, the development of the NGO sector, issues of child rearing, and the re-socialization of ITS participants.
A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the VII republican contest “Fatherly Valor” was also held within the framework of the forum. Ruslan Khabibov, Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan and Minister of Sports, congratulated the winners of the competition. In total, 35 men from 21 cities and districts of Bashkortostan received the Fatherly Valor Award this year.
The forum was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, who, together with Valery Fadeev, Adviser to the President of Russia and Chairman of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, got acquainted with the best practices of NGOs.
The event ended with a plenary session and the presentation of state awards from the hands of the Head of the Republic.
