On June 20, the 66th Coordination and Methodological Council meeting on breeding work with dairy cattle of the Urals was held at the Congress Hall Toratau.

The meeting was opened by Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister of Agriculture of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan. He addressed the forum participants about the development of the agricultural republican complex in the republic.

Ilshat Fazrakhmanov outlined an ambitious goal to establish a modern genetic selection center for dairy cattle breeding in the republic. Bashkortostan, known as for its high genetic potential in cow productivity, has all the necessary resources for this initiative.

He emphasized that increasing the productive lifespan of dairy cows is among the primary objectives for local scientists and specialists.

During the meeting, leading Russian experts in breeding and selection work delivered presentations on various relevant topics.
